FAQs
1. Is it true that the NRTK function of Navimow X4 is free?
Yes, the Navimow X4 offers a lifetime free service for its NRTK functionality, providing exceptional value for money.
2. What types of lawn environments is the Navimow X4 suitable for?
The Navimow X4 is suitable for all lawn environments. It features a 360° obstacle avoidance system, a four-wheel all-wheel drive system that can conquer slopes up to 84% (40°) and vertical obstacles up to 7 cm, providing efficient mowing that cares for every detail of your lawn.
3. What are the working space limitations for the Navimow X4?
The body dimensions of the X4 are 850 × 610 × 351 mm. Please ensure adequate clearance when passing through narrow obstacles. Additionally, operation may be limited in environments with weak network signals, on slopes exceeding 84% (40°), or when facing obstacles taller than 7 cm.
4. Where is the best location in the yard to install the Navimow X4?
Many customers install their robotic mower at the edge of the lawn for easier access to a power source.
5. What recommended accessories are available for the Navimow X4?
Accessories for the Navimow X4 include: a mower garage that provides additional protection for the mower, replaceable blades, and an installable electronic gate.
6. What voice control and manual control options does the Navimow X4 support?
All Navimow robotic mowers support voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Home. If you wish to experience manual mowing mode, you can also operate it using the Navimow App.
7. Is the Navimow X4 very noisy?
The Navimow X4 operates at a noise level of 68 dB(A) during normal work, which is equivalent to the sound of a regular household vacuum cleaner heard from a few meters away, within the WHO-recommended daily safety limit of 70 dB(A) for environmental noise.
8. What is the battery capacity and charging time of the Navimow X4?
X420: Battery capacity 10 Ah; charging time 75 min per charge, mowing runtime on full charge 90 min, mowing area per charge 675 m².
X450: Battery capacity 15 Ah; charging time 100 min per charge, mowing runtime on full charge 130 min, mowing area per charge 1300 m².
9. What value-added services or products are available for the Navimow X4?
Currently, purchasing the Navimow X4 includes lifetime free NRTK functionality. You can also opt for parcel insurance and return insurance to protect your order. Furthermore, purchasing the X420 includes 1 year of free 4G data service (renewal €29.9 per year thereafter), and purchasing the X450 includes 2 years of free 4G data service (renewal €29.9 per year thereafter).
10. What is the return policy for the Navimow X4?
Due to the high shipping costs associated with the size and weight of the Navimow X4 robotic mower, returns for non-product issues will be subject to significant shipping fees and a 10% restocking fee. Please refer to the refund policy for return terms.
11. What is the shipping time for the Navimow X4 ?
Because the robotic mower and related accessories are bulky, your order may be split into multiple sub-orders for shipping, which could result in slightly different arrival times. Please check your order notification email for details.
12. Do I need to clean grass clippings after the mower finishes its work?
No, because the grass clippings formed after mowing are very fine; they decompose quickly, providing essential nutrients for the lawn.
13. Can the robotic mower recognize dog waste on the lawn?
Good question :) This depends on the size and shape of the obstacle. During daytime mowing and in better lighting conditions, the robotic mower's recognition capability is stronger.
1. Slope Testing: Tested on an 85% (40.3°) slope with 7 cm grass height and 5 mm cutting overlap. Tests involved manual remote control in uphill, downhill, lateral, and 45° diagonal directions.
2. Obstacle Crossing: Data based on internal testing of vertical obstacles. Actual crossing capability may vary depending on grass type, soil moisture, and obstacle geometry.
3. Step Climbing: Tested with the cutting blade set to the maximum height while the mower traversed a vertical step at maximum speed.
4. Charging Time: Tested at 25°C. Refers to the duration required for the battery to charge from 10% to 100% of its full capacity.
5. Efficiency Calculation: Tested on a flat, obstacle-free lawn. Calculated as: [24 hours ÷ (full-charge mowing time + charging time)] × single full-charge mowing area.
6. 8-Layer Trimming: The adaptive height adjustment system automatically cuts tall grass in up to 8 stages to prevent clogging and ensure a smooth finish.
7. Network RTK feature: Network RTK access is included at no extra cost, and the required cellular data are provided free of charge.
8. Antenna-Free Feature: Antenna-free operation is available via Network RTK. A physical GNSS antenna is included for optional installation, allowing users to choose between network-based or local base station positioning.
9. Noise Testing: Measurements conducted under laboratory no-load conditions with the drive motor operating at 0.8 m/s and the blade motor at 2800 rpm, without grass cutting load.
10. Return-to-Dock Triggers: Activates when the mowing task is 100% complete, rain sensors are triggered, battery level drops to 15%, sensors are obstructed, or the scheduled mowing duration is complete.
